AIRCRAFT CRASHED IN POKHARA, NEPAL




At least 68 people were charred to death in a tragic accident when a passenger carrying Aircraft crashed near Pokhara Nepal.

According to reports it was  ATR 72 Yeti Airlines with 72 passengers on board which was on its way from Kathmandu to Pokhara which got crashed. 

The incident occurred just before its landing at Pokhara Airport. Of the 72 passengers traveling, 52 were Nepalese, 5 Indian,4 Russian,2 Koreans one Irish, and one French national were traveling to Pokhara. Well, the exact reason behind this tragic incident could be found only after the examination of the black box.  But the initial reports claim that the crash might be caused due to some technical issues. 


Nepal PM Pushp Kumar Dahal Prachand has decided to visit the site to oversee the rescue operation going on in Pokhra. 

Apart from that Five-member committee has been set up to investigate the causes of the crash.

Union Civil Aviation Minister JotiRao Scindia condoled the loss of lives in Plain Crash.
