MUNNAR " KASHMIR OF SOUTH INDIA "

Munnar is a hill station in districts idduki State Kerala, It's also called  Kashmir of Southern India. 

Munnar has so many things to offer to its visitors, be it mesmerizing waterfall , its wildlife sanctuaries, or its lakes. 

So let's explore some of the most beautiful and scenic places in Munnar.

1) Lakkom Waterfall

It originate from Eravikulam stream,  the milky white color of this water fall is the main source of attraction for tourists. This stream is on of the tributary of Pambar River.

2) Nayamakad Waterfall

The most exotic peace of nature is situated between Munnar and Rajamala. Renowned  for its tea plantations. It offers tracking opportunities  to the tourists. This Waterfall is always at the top of list in visitors diary. 

3) Kundale Lake 

It's a very Peaceful and Perfect location to spend time with your friend's and family, it is surrounded by lush green valley, photographers are much excited to capture glittering effect created on Lake, which the  sunlight falls on it.

4) Messapulimala

It's a peak located in idduki,  it is located in between Anaimalai Hills and Palani Hills.The beauty of Munnar can be enjoyed best from mesaapulimala peak. The best time to visit is place is September to May.

5) Lockhart Gap View

As the name itself indicates  it's a gap between two mountains near munnar, which resembles the shape of heart. It offer a picturesque view of tea plantations slopes with beautiful road in between the fields.

6) Eravikulam National Park

It's a National Park located in Western Ghats, It has huge diversity of flora and fauna, Nilgiri tahr is endemic species in this area. Anamudi Hills  are present on the right side of Eravikulam National Park, Neelakurinji blooms  further adds to the beauty of National Park.
